Individual Factor in A Development

The word 'development' of today no longer a foreign word, especially in academic discourse. However, the impact of development includes not only academics or upper class. That is a unique of development. A development will look unbalanced when the model of development itself rule out other aspects, one of which is the individual aspect in the development process. Each and every individual in it will also feel the atmosphere of such development. Therefore, the development is not only derived from the existing demands of the times, the ability of materials owned by a territory or country, but also the role of the action/behavior of individuals.

 So much gossip about the development. There are put in issue capitalist, feudalistic, and for the sake of a certain group or class. Through this kind of thing, not a few people tend to be negative assessment of a development. It is not possible construction will continue to feel unbalanced because of the lack of aspect of this one to support the development.

Analysis of some experts suggest that most people more comfortable with a situation that they're living before (stagnation). It's as if people were happy with the reliability of their economic nature, whereas the time is developing and demanding behavior changing as they relate to the increasing need for both every day and secondary needs. The paradigm of society must be changed in which humans behave as modern humans in this era of globalization. Some experts say that there are bad habits of people that not confident (disability) to face this advanced era. As if this rivalry is a deadly rivalry. Maybe from this, I say that the development is the bridge between an advancing era with stiff competition. These developments were not always identified with something that is luxurious and high. Precisely when this development starts from the individual's own self, should depart from the ability or capacity of each person. Midgley started from increasing the standard quality of life. Through of this, each individual will try to meet their own welfare and society.

 Without realizing each of individual will change their paradigm of thinking with some expressive programs, because at least, inside themselves have to adjust advancing era. As a result, through it all can realize that the inhibiting factors of development such as poverty, discrimination (resulting in lower non-participation in the development), the abuse of the image of women and children, exploitation of natural resources, and also funds a high state of military ( Midgley, 2005: 8), was centered on the attitudes and behaviors inidividu itself whether it is the middle to top, or bottom. As for some reflection on the praxis of theoretical reflection above is the upper middle is sensible to change their paradigm who only see their own benefit aspects, to a common aspect of looking at the needs of other communities to realize a prosperous development of society at large (social welfare), and should the marginalized are supposed to rise from their position that nearly drowned out by this development flows through the works or small businesses, medium-, and even evoke a traditional market to 'control from below' ongoing development, which orients a vision of development to the social welfare and any work that is doing not merely in terms of value/wages, but also the inner satisfaction of their own. Through it all, when the development deviated from what was expected (causing aspect of particular interest), at least, control the public will have a major influence to restore the main function of such development.
